About
Dr. Jason Hammond is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship-trained in sports medicine, practicing with MedStar Health in Maryland. His interest in orthopaedics began after he was treated for a high school track and field injury.
His surgical work centers on the shoulder and knee, including arthroscopic repair, ligament reconstruction and joint replacement. He has served as an associate physician for college and professional teams.
Outside the operating room, he writes and invents. He has taken his own ideas from first sketch to finished product, and he enjoys helping other people with good ideas do the same. He is also a co-founder of the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation, which supports families facing infertility.
